About StringFitRx
Choosing a tennis racket and strings is confusing — hundreds of frames, dozens of strings, and endless jargon. StringFitRx turns your preferences into three clear, explained recommendations.
How the matching works
Answer a short quiz about your level, playing style, the feel and tension you like, how much spin matters, and any injuries. Our engine scores every racket and string in our catalog against your answers — and every racket + string combination — then returns the three best setups, each with a match score and a plain-English explanation of why it fits.
Built with your arm in mind
The feature we care most about: if you flag tennis elbow, shoulder or wrist issues, comfort becomes the priority. We favor flexible, low-stiffness frames and soft strings at a lower tension, and steer you away from the stiff frames and firm polyesters that tend to aggravate arm pain. Where it helps, we’ll suggest a hybrid — a poly for spin and control paired with a soft string for comfort, each at its own tension.
Already own gear?
Use the Pair gear tool to go the other way: pick a racket you own and see the best strings (and tension) for it, or pick a string you love and find the rackets that suit it.
An honest note on specs
Product specifications on StringFitRx are realistic but representative, and gear is personal. Think of our recommendations as a strong, well-reasoned starting point — always try to demo a racket before you buy.
How we stay free
StringFitRx is free to use. When you click a “Check price” link and buy from a retailer, we may earn a small affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. That never influences our recommendations, which come from the matching engine. See our Privacy Policy for details.
